How to Get Rid of Stretch marks: 8 Home Remedies

What are stretch marks?

Stretch marks usually appear  when a person grows up or gains weight rather quickly or when the skin gets pulled or stretched. It could be during puberty or pregnancy or just when gaining weight. That person may get fine lines or stripes on the body. This normally happens on the abdomen, breast, buttocks, hips, etc.

What Causes Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks are normally caused when your skin promptly stretches or shrinks. This will cause the elastin and collagen in your skin to break. Elastin’s main allows your skin to stretch and collagen  provides structure, strength, and support to your skin.

Fortunately for all of us, there are some things you can do to get rid of stretch marks and prevent stretch marks, as well as reduce them. So check these options out and choose the one that suits you best.
